A little bit about my awesome team…
The sun is shining, the weather is warm and dry, and the fall colors look beautiful on the Mont-Ste-Anne trails. Since our New Zealand camp in August I have trained for 2 weeks in Montreal (if you want to know more about that, please refer to the recent Death Camp video interview). And since then, it’s been back to Mont-Ste-Anne. Today I would like to introduce you to some amazing people that I am fortunate to work with while in Quebec. These individuals push me in the intensity, make excellent company on long workouts, fix my tired and hard-working body, and take care of my equipment! I’m so lucky!!!

Watching Montreal Grand Prix road bike race with my friends and awesome training partners Antoine (Team Canada – Canoe), Buck, Simon (Team Canada – Cycling), and Hugues (Team Canada – Kayak).

Besides kicking my butt in running intensity, Charles is the mastermind behind the Training Centre strength conditioning, yoga and is an all around awesome guy!

Visiting Jonathan’s stables for a summer’s end pig roast. Jon was waxing my skis in 2009 when I qualified for the Vancouver Olympics, as well as during 2010 World Cups. This winter Laval University ski team is fortunate to have Jon wax for them.

Although not officially employed by the training centre, Douki (CNEPH alumni Fred Touchette’s dog) is always up for a recovery run. She seems to really like the new Mont-Ste-Anne rollerski trail!

Thank you to head coach Louis (far left), assistant coach Francois (far right) and Charles (bottom) for your everyday enthusiasm, passion and hard work.
Watch out for us this winter!
L to R: Louis, me, Cendrine, Alexis, Simon, Alex, Raph, Anne-Marie, Francois and Charles (at the bottom).
Missing: Frederique & Maya
Tomorrow I am leaving for a 2 week high-altitude camp in Truckee, California. I can’t wait to reunite with my National Team teammates for our last ‘dryland’ camp of the year.
Thank you for checking in!
